Thayer Naples studied guitar at the legendary Berklee College of Music where he graduated with a degree in Performance. After leaving Berklee, he moved to New York where he performed as a professional guitarist for many years.
During his years as an evolving skilled musician, he developed a particular passion for the style and finesse of artists like Chet Atkins and many others with whom Chet performed and recorded. As a result, Thayer produced four solo albums featuring the music of Chet Atkins and Merle Travis. His performances of Chet Atkins will leave you spellbound.
Gar Hogan spent many years studying the performing arts: acting, directing, and musical performance. He mastered his craft and brings that skill to the stage where he joins Thayer Naples for this tribute to Chet Atkins and friends.
Gar's performance is something that has to be seen and heard. The raw power and emotion of his voice will captivate you like few vocalists can.
Currently performing as lead vocal in tributes to Bob Seger and Joe Cocker, Gar joins Thayer in this tribute as a vocalist and master storyteller.
Billy Gewin is a multi-instrumentalist, singer/songwriter, producer, engineer, and owner of Cave Cricket Studios, where he records bands, singer-songwriters, voice overs, as well as soundtracks.
When Billy was five years old, he started taking music lessons and as a teenager he joined a rock band . He took a year of music classes at Georgia State University, played in jazz guitar labs, sang in the choir, played gigs, and wrote and recorded original music.
Billy is also a noted bassist, performing regularly on electric and acoustic bass. He also plays banjo, mandolin, percussion, melodica, and synthesizers.
