BRETT "DOC" NADEL

Brett studied music formally in Miami and then started playing drums in the greatest music market in the world: Atlanta, GA! In 2000 Brett was featured in the column, “New Blood” in DRUM! Magazine. He has been a part of Atlanta’s music scene for 30 years, including recording sessions, touring, and gigging. Some years ago Brett felt the call to practice the healing arts, and he is loved and respected in the community as a Chiropractic Physician and was an Adjunct Professor for Life University. Brett is the spirit of Fire Lake and uses his intuition and inspiration to shape the healing flow of energy between audience and musicians.

KI ADONSONIA

Ki Adonsonia is a singer-songwriter based in Atlanta, Georgia. Known for her sultry alto voice, Ki has fronted jazz groups, performed in singer-songwriter duets, and has sung lead and backing vocals in cover bands whose musical styles have spanned country, classic rock, and Indie folk. Reflecting on the commonality of the human experiences of hope, love, and family, her original poetry-based folk and pop tunes have been influenced by such artists as Kate Bush, Patsy Cline, Bob Dylan, Brandi Carlyle, and Sarah Jarosz.

BILLY GEWIN

Billy is a multi-instrumentalist, singer/songwriter and producer, engineer, and owner of Cave Cricket Studios, where he records bands, singer-songwriters, voiceovers, and soundtracks. When he was five years old, he started taking music lessons and as a teenager he joined a rock band . He took a year of music classes at Georgia State University, played in jazz guitar labs, sang in the choir, played gigs, and wrote and recorded original music. Billy is also a noted bassist, performing regularly on electric and acoustic bass. He also plays banjo, mandolin, percussion, melodica, and synthesizers.

IGNATIUS "IG" HINES

Ignatius "Ig" Hines is a musician, educator, and actor who resides in Stockbridge, GA. He holds a B.A. from Clarke Atlanta University and a Master's Degree in Music Therapy from Florida State. Ig plays flute and all of the saxes, but concentrates on tenor saxophone in Fire Lake. Ig prides himself on performing a song repertoire that includes Jazz, Pop, R&B/Hip-Hop, Soul, and Dance genres.  Ig Hines is a saxaphonist in high demand.  Fire Lake is very fortunate to have his talent. his skill, and his strong leadership with us.

ERIC "GQ" MOULTRIE

// alto saxophone

Eric. a/k/a/ "GQ", hails from Savannah, GA. A Music Educator for twenty five years, Eric led concert and marching bands for fifteen years in South Carolina and presently teaches at Clayton County PS. Eric enjoys spending time with his family and grandson. His hobbies include traveling, meeting people, fishing for crappie, and watching sports. Eric's musical influences include contemporary jazz saxophonists Grover Washington Jr., David Sanborn, Gerald Albright, and Kirk Whalum, as well as John Coltrane and Bruce Springsteen's friend and former sideman, Clarence Clemons.

BRETT "PROFESSOR" MITCHELL

Brett is an accomplished pianist and composer. As a singer/songwriter, he studied with Paul Simon and worked with Melissa Manchester while attending New York University.  As a solo pianist/singer Brett has toured from Vail, to California, Japan and Germany.  For years he has led his own jazz and rock groups featuring many of his own compositions.  He was honored to have been selected by the National Association of Independent Record  Distributors for his original Christian album, "Inspiration."
